Statement of Faith

We believe in One God, maker of the heavens and earth, who eternally manifests Himself in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-2, Matthew 3:16-17

We believe that Jesus Christ was truly God and truly man who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a life without sin, suffered becoming sin for us upon the cross, died, was buried and rose again on the third day so that we might have forgiveness of sin, be saved, restored, healed and delivered by faith in Him.  We believe that the shed blood of Jesus and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe. We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father where He is our high priest and advocate.  We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and that no-one comes to the Father except through Him.
John 1: 1-2, John 3:16, John 20: 1-9, Isaiah 7:14, John 14:6

We believe the Holy Spirit, as the third person of the Trinity, was sent by Jesus to the world after he had ascended into Heaven to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ during this age.  He convicts men of sin, then regenerates them through the born again experience, indwells, guides and instructs them during their walk with the Lord as believers.
John 14:16-17

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is available to all believers and is the divine power of God on earth.
Isaiah 11:2, Romans 5:5, Acts 2:1-4

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that miracles, signs and wonders are available today to all those who believe in Him.  We believe in divine healing in the name of Jesus through prayer, the laying on of hands, faith and the sovereign move of God.
1 Corinthians 12:1–11, Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:17-18, James 5:13-16.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God and we believe in its inerrancy and infallibility. We believe it was inspired by the Holy Spirit and given to mankind as the supreme authority of all matters of faith and establishes the way we are to live our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16–17.

We believe in the water baptism by immersion as representing our spiritual death, burial and resurrection. Matthew 3:13–17, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17,

We believe in the partaking of the Lord’s supper, the breaking of bread and the drinking of wine representing His body and His blood. 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26.

We believe in the visible, tangible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth to firstly claim His Bride, the Church, and then to judge the world. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelations 1:7, Acts 1:11, Titus 2:12-14, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10
